What is Analytical Path and what do you do?
We are a secure Web-based tool that enables you to track, store, monitor and analyze the data surrounding the performance of your apps. We offer a range of data analysis features so that you can gain insight into all the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) that underlie your apps.
Can you provide an example of the KPIs and data you gather?
By enabling iTunes Connect through the Analytical Path website we start off by pulling all of the unit sales and revenue data across all of the storefronts. With the data securely stored at our hosting facility we then crunch the numbers so you can track moving averages, seasonality, price elasticity, break-even, and upsell ratios. More critical data sets regarding your apps are added regularly.
What are your best features?
Users of Analytical Path find great value in our preset data calculations, as well as our easy-to-use drag-and-drop app feature found in the Find App section. Also firmly believe that data is more meaningful when it is shared with important stakeholders. We offer the ability for users to share graphs, data tables and sets, and other important app information easily.
What is the FREE PLAN?
Access to The FREE PLAN requires sign up. The plan enables you to quickly track and discern how your apps are performing with the following features:
Connect your iTunes Connect account and track up to 9 of your apps for free.
Store and analyze app unit sales, revenue, and other key performance indicators (KPI).
Access to all preset calculations and data analyses tools.
Quickly generate and share graphs and data with colleagues and stakeholders.
Explore other important contributing data streams such as social media impacts.
Tell me about the SUBSCRIPTION PLAN.
Like the FREE PLAN the SUBSCRIPTION PLAN provides you with a suite of features but for the price of US$9.99 per month you can track 10 or more apps, no limit. We currently only accept PayPal but more payment methods are on the way. You are billed monthly with no contract or ongoing obligation. You may cancel any time.
What if I don't have any of my own apps yet on the App Store? Can I still use your site?
Yes. Even if you do not have your own apps on the App Store you can view information on other apps, such as rank and meta data. Creating a free account with Analytical Path, even if you don't have your own apps yet also allows you to get the latest updates and news on new features and deployments on our site.
There are many apps on Apple App Store, how do I find what I am looking for?
Click on the Find Apps tab of the site. In the search box you can you use the same type of Boolean search criteria that you would on, say, Google. Add " " marks around your search term if you know the exact app name. You can also use characters such as ' ', &, + and -, to refine your search. When you get your search results you can then view the results by list or grid view, and then across iPhone or iPad (more platforms coming soon!)
